Robert’s work as a fine art photographer continues in the London natural light studio. Macro studies of rare instruments, portraits of notable artists, and studio work inspired by Irving Penn and Paolo Roversi are all part of his practice. The workshop in Hampstead includes a professional darkroom for making bespoke black and white prints from glass plate and large format negatives. The space is shared with fine instrument photographer Jan Rorhmann. The studio’s work represents the highest level documentation of stringed instruments, classical portraits and signature images.
